Visit The Vanderbilt Mansion
An exquisite example of a 19th century country estate, the Vanderbilt Mansion is a popular attraction in Hyde Park.
An hour-long guided tour is included in the price of admission, where you’ll get to see the displays of wealth and neoclassical architecture of the building.

Hyde Park Trail

Hudson Historic Valley
Hudson Historic Valley is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to inform and educate about the area’s heritage, promoting the region’s significant landmarks and educational programmes.
Visit landmarks in the area or learn about slavery and women’s history around the Hudson Valley.

Top Cottage
Top Cottage was built in 1938 and served as the private retreat for Franklin D. Roosevelt, who designed the cottage himself in accordance with his accessibility needs and allowed his wheelchair to navigate the building with ease.
The cottage was used to entertain close friends and political allies. Though the original furnishings are no longer present, the interior has been decorated with replicas and antiques that match the original contents.
Tours are available Monday-Friday from May-October.
Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market
